How to Cook a Boneless Turkey Breast in the Slow Cooker
With such a minimal prep time and the slow cooker doing all of the work, you’ll find this crockpot boneless turkey breast recipe so very easy.
- Place the carrots and the potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour chicken broth on top.
- In a small bowl mix the olive oil, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt and pepper. Brush the olive oil mixture over the turkey breasts.
- Place the turkey breasts on top of the veggies, cover and cook on low for 8 hours OR on high for 4 hours.
- Remove from slow cooker and don’t forget to allow the turkey to rest for 15-20 minutes before serving.
This allows the juices to settle and prevent dry turkey. If you’re worried about it cooling off too much, tent it with aluminium foil. While the turkey rests, make gravy from the drippings.
Slice and sprinkle with fresh parsley when ready to serve.
