The first step in making the best corn on the cob is to place a little oil in your hands and rub it on the fresh corn.

Then sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place each ear of corn in the air fryer basket, in a single layer so the hot air can move all around the corn.

Depending on the size of your air fryer, you’ll be able to make 3-4 ears of corn.

Variations on this Recipe

As you can see the parmesan and parsley are optional ingredients to make this air fryer recipe. yet I have found this gives best results.

Another great way to enhance the flavor of corn is to cook it with some garlic powder, cayenne pepper or red chili powder.

These are a great option in giving a unique spice to corn.

You can even add a few drops of lemon juice (or lime juice) for a refreshing twist on the classic.

You can also use melted butter instead of olive oil. As well, you can substitute the parmesan cheese with crumbled feta.

How to Pick Perfect Corn

Choosing the best corn without pulling back the husks in the grocery store, is easy. The ear of the corn should be firm and plump. The silks sticking out the top should be brown and tacky, indicating moisture and freshness. Look for husks (leaves that wrap around the ear) that are damp, bright in colour and aren’t browning.
