I love baking this time of year for all the love/heart themed goodies. Not because I’m sold on the whole Valentine’s Day thing. Yet I love the tastes of Valentines. Nothing is better than all the chocolates, strawberries, whipped cream and of course – red velvet.
I mean, Red Velvet Cupcakes are a classic Valentine’s Day dessert recipe for a very good reason! Mmmm.

Oh yes, I am a total sucker for anything ‘red velvet’. I get super giddy when Valentine’s Day is approaching not for the forced ‘love’, yet just as an excuse to make so many Red Velvet desserts.
I guess it’s the deep rich colour and the decadent taste that I love most. It’s for all the same reasons why I submerse myself into Red Velvet Brownies year after year. Best Brownies Ever!

Red Velvet Milkshake
This Red Velvet Milkshake is simply heaven you guys. Heaven. I’m not completely sure which was most appealing about this shake – the cake batter ice cream, red velvet cake, the whip cream or the sprinkles.
Hello Valentine’s Day!

This milkshake recipe is perfect for afternoons snuggled in with the family, to a dessert/drink for after dinner on Valentine’s Day. Or, just a sweet treat to make for yourself, because you deserve it!
This recipe is heaven through a straw, so very delicious. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more simple and tasty dessert to celebrate the holiday.
It’s classic too, think 50’s at the diner. Sharing a milkshake. *swoon*
You absolutely need to try a Red Velvet Cake Milkshake for yourself. I have a very strong feeling you’ll agree that this is very well may be the best milkshake ever!
