There’s nothing better than going from school to cheerleading {or Gymnastics, or dance} and coming home to a cooked meal. I still recall how coming home to my Slow Cooker Apricot Chicken cooked and waiting, simply made the day.

Thanks to slow cooker recipes, I don’t have as many frantic kitchen pacing episodes of ‘what to make for dinner‘, right at dinnertime.
One favourite that we have made a couple times this winter is Slow Cooker Orange Chicken. I’d also call this a healthier orange chicken version of a traditional, since oftentimes Orange Chicken is deep-fried.
Yet not my One Pan Orange Chicken that uses oranges, so check that one out.

I tried in my slow cooker but since no one in my home eats thighs I used skinless chicken breast. I cut it up coated it with flour and added the other ingredients. Put it on high for 3.5 hours. But the meat dried out should I have decreased the time since using breast. The,sauce was really good though.
