Recall my aversion to the winter months? My strong aversion?
Truth is, as much as I dislike all that is this time of year {cold and only getting colder}, I do have three daughters that love to skate and sled. So, I pretty much have to suck it up and make the best – that’s just life as a parent.
One of the things I do, to make the fall and winter a little sweeter, is to bring along reinforcements – a go mug of hot chocolate!
In fact, it’s tradition when friends and myself take our children sledding. The two just go hand in hand.
This fall and winter I have a new Hot Chocolate recipe in my collection, and one that actually steps it up a notch because it’s made in the crock pot.
Why You Should Make This Recipe
Slow Cooker Cinnamon White Hot Chocolate is simply amazing. Rich, full of flavour and everything you’d expect in a great hot chocolate recipe. Plus, white hot chocolate – my favourite!

One of the biggest perks of Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate {aside of the taste that is}, is that it’s slow cooked. Meaning it’ll be ready when you get home and need warming up.
Knowing this can be enjoyed the second you walk through the door sure makes all that shovelling easier right? .. shovelling. ugh. I cannot believe I already talked about that. Yet, here we go! Armed with Slow Cooker Cinnamon White Hot Chocolate – bring it on, Winter!

I’ve been strictly a powdered hot chocolate type of person… but this sounds really good and with the crock pot, all things are possible. I may give it a go!

Sounds like something I should make up for Christmas morning, thanks for sharing!
This sounds perfect for the holidays!! Must make 🙂
Great idea! Never thought to make it in the slow cooker. We occasionally make home made hot chocolate but with cocoa powder instead of chocolate chips.
