I love this time of year for many reasons. One, is that I start seeing fresher and cheaper mango in the stores. I love mango, I really do.
And yes, that is a blog post dedicated to mango. It’s a fruit that I fell in love with on a past trip to Mexico, yet we struggle to find comparable quality here in Alberta.

From the smell to the taste – I love me some mango! So, to liven up our fruit smoothies {which we enjoy most mornings}, I’m starting to incorporate mango into them.

Blueberry Mango Smoothie is one of my current faves, so easy to make and very delicious. If i close my eyes while drinking, I might just think I was back in Mexico again.
Well, almost, but it sure adds an extra bit of sunshine to my day.

Blueberry Mango Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries {fresh is best but frozen will work as well}
- 1 whole mango (diced into chunks.)
- 1/4 cup of water or milk {you can add more if you’d like your smoothie less thick}
Instructions
- Blend everything together until it’s smooth. Feel free to adjust the liquid to your preference.
- Enjoy!
