Recipe Variations
- Use Different Candy Bars: Try swapping Snickers for other another favorite candy bar like Milky Way, Twix, Kit-Kat, or even Reese’s for a peanut butter brownie twist.
- Add Sea Salt: Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top before baking to bring out the chocolate and caramel flavors with an extra kick.
- Nut-Free Option: If you need to avoid nuts, chop up your favorite nougat or caramel candy bars that don’t contain peanuts. You can do the same for our Chocolate Shortbread Bars Recipe too.
- Add Espresso Powder: A small dash of espresso powder in the batter elevates the chocolate’s richness without adding a coffee taste.

Tips for Success
How to Make Snickers Brownies

STEP 1 – Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper. In a medium saucepan or medium microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together until smooth. Stir occasionally to ensure even melting.

STEP 2 – In a large bowl, beat the eggs and packed brown sugar together until the mixture is light and well-combined.

STEP 3 – Gradually stir the cooled melted chocolate and butter mixture into the egg and sugar mixture. Mix in the vanilla extract.

STEP 4 – In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients (flour mixture) into the chocolate batter until just combined. Avoid over mixing to keep the brownies fudgy.

STEP 5 – Gently fold in the chopped Snickers pieces and peanuts.

STEP 6 – Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula so it’s an even layer in the entire pan. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

STEP 7 – Allow the fudgy snickers brownies to cool completely in the pan then drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the brownies. Place on a cutting board and discard the paper. Slice with a sharp knife and serve.
