Slow Cooker Chicken and Rice with Parmesan Mushroom Sauce
We recently tried a new recipe for dinner, Slow Cooker Chicken and Rice with Parmesan Mushroom Sauce.
The family consensus is that it should be made again sometime, so of course it’s going to make it to the Recipe Box at My Organized Chaos.

It’s a take on Chicken Parmesan, yet a mushroom sauce substitutes the more common tomato-based sauce.
Instead, using the slow cooker, you get all that ‘Parmesan taste’ in the tender chicken and rice alone. It’s a very flavorful meal, definitely better to taste than to take photos of.
Best of all? It’s a crock-pot meal, meaning dinner is ready without the mad-scramble in the kitchen just before.
All you need to is add some greens {we opted for Caesar salad}, yet it would be great with green beans, a tossed salad or a mix of steamed veggies.

This looks really good. I love using the Crockpot but I hardly ever use it. I don’t know why! I think it’s because dinner is far off. I am going to change that now. I printed this recipe and plan to cook it tomorrow!!
Oh yummy! This sounds and looks delicious. Another what’s for dinner dilemma solved. Thanks for sharing!
This sounds so good!
Sounds and looks delicious! I should try this some time…if I ever find my slow cooker.
It doesn’t let me pin it – I’m worried I won’t be able to find it again!
