Instant Pot Tortellini Alfredo

Instant Pot Tortellini Alfredo
Chicken Tortellini Alfredo is a dish that can be made stovetop, don’t get me wrong. I’ve done it before and it’s relatively quick and it tastes amazing.

Yet the beauty about making this recipe in a pressure cooker is that you’re only washing one dish. Since this recipe calls for cooking both baking and chicken, you’d otherwise have to cook in multiple steps and use multiple pans.

Not in an Instant Pot! There’s no waiting for boiled water, and booking the bacon and chicken separately – and since it’s one-dish, all the flavours soak in together and into the tortellini which just tastes better in my opinion.
Don’t be scared off by the many steps in the recipe instructions – each one is quick and easy – I promise!
While I call this recipe Instant Pot Tortellini Alfredo in title, truth is, it’s Instant Pot Bacon Chicken Tortellini Alfredo with spinach. And yes, the ingredients combine as delicious as it sounds.

Usually when making Alfredo, and usually with fettuccine, I opt for the jarred sauce. I’ve always liked one particular brand and it’s so convenient, so why not right? Yet for this recipe it’s a homemade Alfredo sauce, and it’s simply delicious. So for those that haven’t yet tried making their own, this is a great start.
This pressure cooker Tortellini Alfredo recipe is one that you will want to make often. Serve this to your family or guests, and they will love it!

Looks delicious. I’m waiting for the Instant Pots to go on sale to grab one.
This is definite comfort food. I’m always looking for new recipes for my Instant Pot.
What size pot did you use? I have a 3qt. Any suggestions on how to adjust for a 3qt? Thanks.
I use a larger one, but there’s plenty of room in mine so I’m sure a smaller pot would work still. 🙂
No fresh tortellini in this one horse town. Hopefully, frozen will work.
Ugh, Yep, it’s insane out there. It should work just fine, yet allow it to unthaw first.
Got a recipe using jarred alfredo sauce? TIA!
It’s coming up because my homemade is better than jarred and so easy!!
