Slow-Cooker Chicken Bolognese

While I love the taste, I don’t make bolognese sauce very often, just because it usually calls for so many ingredients.

Most nights, I just want something more convenient that fits within the allotted time I have to make dinner. Which on some evenings, isn’t very long at all

It’s hard enough to get back into routine this time of year, without the hassles and stress of putting dinner on the table. I much prefer the quality, easier dinner that can be made when the back to school rush and busy evening activities are in full effect.

This is why I like to be stocked up on CLASSICO sauces. Really, there’s so very many varieties and flavours to choose from, it’s simple to mix up any dinner with the change of a sauce. In fact, I haven’t tried the same sauce twice in quite a while.

Recently I made Slow-Cooker Chicken Bolognese, made with the new CLASSICO di Bologna Bolognese Pasta Sauce. Wait until you see how simple and easy this meal is to make, I don’t even need a recipe card inserted into this post, which I don’t have to do that often.

Pasta on a plate

While the kids were eating breakfast and getting ready for school one morning, I simply added 4-5 pieces of skinless boneless chicken breasts and a jar of CLASSICO di Bologna Bolognese Pasta Sauce into the slow cooker. That’s it!

When serving, add some fresh parsley and/or Finely Shredded 100% Parmesan Cheese top the top and perfection.

The wonderful rich sauce scent filled the house all day, it was hard not to sneak a taste. When we arrived home from after school activities, I just had to boil some pasta noodles and dinner was served!

You can’t make your busy  weeknight dinners any easier.
