This dip is hearty and comforting, with all the Mexican-flavoured fixings. It’s kind of like a whole meal on it’s own. In fact, sometimes I want to make this for dinner and nothing else. Well, Maybe some Homemade Queso Dip too.
Smothered with cheese, that Mexican taste is so popular with guests. This is one dip that I love to snack on, you just about can’t stop.
Serve it alone, or combine with other amazing appetizer recipes for your family or when entertaining {game night, maybe?}. Best served with nacho chips for dipping, or you can spread this cheesy goodness on crispy baguettes – YUM!!
When choosing a dip to bring to a party, this Mexican Dip Recipe one is my ‘safe bet’.
I’ve found that most people truly love the combination of ingredients, slathered on chips, crackers or bread.

How do you make Mexican Dip?
This cream cheese Mexican dip recipe is just 4 ingredients, which is fewer than many layered dip recipes. It’s just an impressive dip that packs a punch in flavour and ease!
You simply layer cream cheese in a baking dish, add chili, and a layer of salsa. Smother it in cheese and bake. Voila! Compared to many dip recipes, this one is so very simple but mouthwateringly good!

This is best served hot and fresh from the oven, and getting that first bite of bubbling cheese on top is the best. Yet, I have to admit, once cooled this dip is just as good. So very delicious!
A couple of months ago I bought a Mexican layered dip from the store, and ended up throwing it out. Once you’re spoiled with this recipe, others just won’t be the same.
I almost can’t wait for a party as an excuse to make this, as I crave the ingredients so much. Who says a hearty dip can’t be a meal in itself? We need to work on changing that I think.
Psst, this dip recipe gets massive points for ‘easy’, which is always welcome with me.
Be prepared to hand out the recipe though, it’s one party appetizer recipe that everyone asks for! 😉
Also try this Warm Mushroom Dip if you like an appetizer dip recipe that isn’t too spicy.
Another great cheese dip recipe is this Creamy Cheddar Bacon Dip!
