Cookies were not meant to be boring, which is why I equally LOVE these Bailey’s Chocolate Cookies, Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies, and Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies. Go ahead, click on over and see how fast your mouth waters.

Even these Lemon Glazed Cookies bring something unique to the table. All glorious for their own reasons, and all most worthy to be made and enjoyed.

Just after I made these Chocolate Reese’s Pieces Cookies, I walked down the hall past the twins playing in a bedroom just in time to hear one say to the other, “Wow, those cookies Mom made sure were good, huh?”.

So often we get compliments on something we cook or bake, yet it’s the ‘behind the back’ remarks that really stand out. In this case, I continued walking while smiling ear to ear.

Thank you and you’re very welcome my sweet babies.

I made these cookies for the girls cheer team. It was a potluck event at the beach, and since everyone was making so many foods, snacks and salads – I decided on bringing a dessert to finish off the meal and the great day.

Inspiration for Chocolate Reese’s Pieces Cookies came from a craving of a cookie, and both chocolate and peanut butter.

I usually have bags of chocolate chips and various candy hidden in the baking cupboard for times like these.

When I realized that the bag of Reese’s Pieces were still there, and not found and devoured – I knew this was THE cookie to bake and take.

After deciding on the ingredients, and successful tasting which concluded that it was worthy to be included in my recipe box her on My Organized Chaos, the name for this cookie was the only debate.

I mean, it’s really ‘double chocolate’ and not just ‘chocolate’, so would it be, white chocolate chocolate Reese’s Pieces cookies? Double Chocolate Reeses’s Pieces Cookies?

I finally settled on Chocolate Reese’s Pieces Cookies but note there’s both the milk and white varieties.

Of course though, since I’ve said so many times that I adore white chocolate, there would be no question of its inclusion where I can.

The taste is amazing. How good? Straight from kids mouths, not at a time to compliment out of politeness – but sisterly whispers of confession while playing.
