Breakfast Power Smoothie
Another great breakfast smoothie idea is this Fresh Orange Smoothie, it tastes just like Orange Julius!
One look at this Breakfast Power Smoothie and I know what you’ll say – it looks gross. Sorry about this recipe which isn’t the most visually appealing one I’ve featured, but it’s such an important recipe to me personally – so have to share!
You see, I’ve always been notorious for skipping breakfast, which has always led me eating all-the-things by lunchtime. With the new year, many are making those resolutions to eat better and live healthier, and this Breakfast Power Smoothie recipe does fit so well with that.
While this smoothie drink isn’t something I started when the new year hit {it’s been my morning staple for about 4 months now}, it’s an excellent one that many can start incorporating into their diets.
Since I started drinking this smoothie daily, not only haven’t I skipped breakfast, but it keeps me full and energized all morning {hence earning the ‘power smoothie’ title wholeheartedly}.
It’s very quick and easy to make, I have gotten into the great habit of blending myself one right before I head out the door for school drop off.
This Breakfast Power Smoothie recipe’s main ingredients are mixed frozen berries {mine usually include blueberries, strawberries and blackberries}, and spinach.
Others are water, chia seeds, flax seeds, greek yogurt and Simply Egg Whites. It’s literally packed with goodness!
The less than beautiful colour of this smoothie comes from the dark spinach and rich berries. I’ve made this smoothie so often than I don’t even measure, so sometimes if there’s more berries it’s more red and depending on the amount of spinach in my handfuls – more green.
I crave this Breakfast Power Smoothie each and every morning, it really is so delicious!

I love the Naturegg Simply Egg Whites. They are perfect to make nice healthy omelets.
We already use the egg whites, they are fabulous!
I’d like to try the Naturegg Simply Egg Whites the most.
I am working on eating healthier in 2016 so this would help me get off to a great start. I would like to try the Simply Egg Whites.
I would LOVE to win this prize package, because it will help with my family’s goal of eating healthier. Our plan is to start the day off right, with Naturegg Simply Egg Whites from Burnbrae Farms for breakfast!
I resolve to focus on my health and nutrition in 2016. I would love to win and have a boost to get me on track. I often skip breakfast and then eat a huge lunch large enough to be a dinner sized meal. But by then I have a hunger headache and am grouchy. I want to make a breakfast power smoothie a part of my morning routine to get a strong start to my day. It would be great to be full of energy and feel good! I am excited to use Simply Egg Whites and discover their versatility to ensure I am getting a good source of protein.
We are changing our lifestyle due to our age of 50+ and Kelly was diagnosed with diabetes so be nice to win, don’t know what is in the basket but like to try their egg whites
Simply Egg Whites i heard are better for you so i think it will fit right in to my weight loss
I would love to win as I love eggs! I would like to try the egg whites to see how it turns out in my baking. I’ve also never tried it in smoothies.
This would help with my goal of quick snacks and meals and eating healthier.
I want to win since I love Burnbrae products. I use their egg whites for royal icing that I use on sugar cookies and for other dessert but I never thought of putting it in a smoothy. (sorry but I can’t get a smoothie down if it looks gross so I will have to stick to a berries, yogourt, egg white, seeds and vanilla soy milk mixture). I will have to have my spinach in a spinach salad instead! Would love to get the Simply Egg whites to make smoothies and maybe an angel food cake.
I would love to win because I love burnbrae products! Such high quality
I would like to win to try egg whites in a smoothie. Haven’t done that before.
I’d like to win because money is tight and I could use all the help I can get, plus we are big egg eaters in our house, I always have boiled eggs on hand or the liquid egg whites.
You are right, that drink is kind of…well, you know. But I agree about having them in the morning. When I was working a peanut butter and banana shake was perfect for me. I would like to try the Naturegg Simply Eggs. I think these would be terrific for camping.
