This keto BBQ sauce recipe is slightly sweet and smoky. In less than 20 minutes you'll have a sugar-free and low carb barbecue sauce that is so delicious and easy to make.
Take a small saucepan and add all the ingredients, except butter, if used.
Mix and bring it to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 15 minutes until water evaporates and the sauce thickens. This will bold in flavours and reduce the tomato paste tartness. Once you have achieved the desired consistency, remove it from heat.
Taste and add extra salt or cayenne pepper, if needed.
Optional: add 1 tbsp of butter, providing a glossy look to your sauce.
