Instructions
Grease your baking dish with butter and preheat the oven to 350℉.
Mix together the blackberries and sugar in one bowl and let sit at least 5 minutes.
Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt in a second bowl.
Add the milk and melted butter to the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
Spread the mixture into your 8 by 8 inch baking dish and then spoon your blackberry mixture on top.
Bake for about 45 minutes, remove and add the turbinado sugar over the top.
Bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden.
Allow to cool and enjoy with some vanilla ice cream!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days
Reheat in the microwave.
