It’s about time!
It seems like it’s been ‘forever’since it’s been warm here. Summer cannot come soon enough, says this self-proclaimed sun-worshipper.
Green grass, sun and the absence of bulky Winter gear. Summer – bring it on! I’m ready for you!
What are you looking forward to most this Summer?
.
.
Sunshine and warm days, taking the grands to the pool! Happy summer to you! Thanks for hosting and come link up if you can with me athttp://nanahood.com/books-to-read
Done and done Teresa!
I can’t wait to hit the local outdoor pool, way better than the inside ones!
Nice shot Tammi. I love the angle you shot it on.
Thanks Rhonda!
Summer seems too far away here in Australia but I’m hoping to be a lot healthier and hopefully have a much needed long overdue family holiday.
That’s right – but you can rub it in when our Winter hits again!
🙂
Gorgeous photo! x
Thanks for hosting the WW, I am having one also click here–> Wordless Wednesday Relecting Our Weekend #12
Have a great day!
Have a great rest of the week, Karren!
Lovely cute shot heheh!…It seems like it here in UK too it’s cold and teeming with rain here arrrghhh!
Have a summertastic week 😉
Speak of the devil – rain and more rain today lasting through the week. Guess I should hold off on celebrating the nice weather, right? Ugh!
I hear ya! I thought summer would never come. Now let’s hope it doesn’t fly by!
Let’s both commit to making every moment count Theresa!
This summer? I’m looking forward to fall and winter. I don’t do well in the heat.
Where I moved to hasn’t had snow since January – I think I could like it here.
Beautiful capture.
I am so excited for summer!
So am I amy!!
🙂
It’s already in the 80s here. I’m hoping it doesn’t get into the 100s like last summer. Have a great summer!
I wish I could say that at least, it’s been a rainy mess here most days. Hopefully it’s getting it out of Mother Natures system!
🙂
I’m excited for summer too. I just got a new wheelchair van so I’ll actually be enjoying it this year.
Congrats on the new vehicle Stephanie!!
I’m sure they will enjoy some time in the sun!
I’m looking forward to the slip n’ slide. Only I figured out how to make it work better than the real thing. My boss gets movie posters to hang at the school. Last year I asked if I could have his Kung Fu Panda ones {that’s the theme we went with}. He agreed. We put one off our porch. The other 2 we use as slip n’ slides. They worked perfectly!
I can’t respond to your comments. It comes in as no-reply blogger. I always want to reply because you often reply to mine. You left a comment. Here’s my reply: Yes boxes make for excellent hiding spots to read! Except there’s very little light in them.
Ha! I think those emails are meant to click back to the post and reply in the comments. Do you have comment notification set up on yours?
Also, that is one genius idea for the slip n’ slide – I need to try something like that this Summer!
🙂
Gorgeous photo. I love the feel of the warm sun in the park with the kids.
Ahhh, yes. Feels great! 5 minutes after I took this photo massive black clouds came in and it’s been raining since. Good thing I captured the little bit of Sun we had that day!
I’m SO ready for summer too! Great shot of the girls! =)
Thanks Trisha, have a wonderful rest of the week!
I’m with you sista! lol We had a long New England winter. I am ready for summer and looking forward to going to Maine for a week in August. 🙂
Nice, I’ve always wanted to go to Maine, have you been there before?
Gorgeous shot!! I can’t wait for summer either!

I have been waiting for this for many long months!!
So what this REALLY means, is that you’re taking our sun and warmth, as we head into winter!!! lol
Great pic, although the greenkeeper/turf researcher suggests that some nitrogen is needed on the pitch!!
Mines up as well at AussiePomm – Vivid Sydney
Have a great day!!
Ha, it’s a slow start to Spring here, the grass still needs to green-up!
For teachers, nothing beats summer vacation!

Oh I bet! You’ll be skipping out of that school on the last day!
😉
looking forward to seeing my parents this summer and introducing them to the youngest member of my family. Happy WW! http://homemom3.com/wordless-wednesday-kindergarten-graduation/
Oh, you have incredible plans then. Enjoy!
🙂
I feel the same way! I’m so happy to be wearing my flip flops again!
Happy WW! 🙂
YES! Bye Winter boots, you bulky things! Feels like feet-freedom!
😉
I know how you feel. We had some teaser weather then we got the cold dreary rainy day (plus a few nights with a freeze warning). I hope it warms up again.
Cute shot.
I just want the kids out of school. I tire from 3 different schedules. lol
Oh yes!!
I was just complaining about this yesterday, so sick of the chaotic schedule!!!
Bad news is that Summer hasn’t even started and my Fall schedule is already booked up with activities 4 nights a week. And I haven’t even gotten started with the scheduling really – I’m dreading it already!
Sandals!
Amen for that!
Sweet photo.
such a cute shot..:)
Happy Wordless Wednesday! My entry is here.
My wallet loves the fact that season passes to the local water park make visits there most affordable. My skin loves the fact the pool is loaded with HUGE beach umbrellas. I love that I can spend time with my kids in the outdoors before they totally grow up!
I am looking forward to sleeping in this summer!!!! Yay!!!! My boys are 19 and 13, and both like to sleep in so….it will be so nice to not set the alarm at all. It makes up for all of those sleepless nights when they were babies. Beautiful photo!
I love the sun, too…but I’m grateful for some lingering mild weather around here since my AC is out. We had two really hot days and we were miserable inside!
Yay sunshine! Enjoy! It’s raining here on Vancouver Island today 🙁
Looking forward fro swimming!
I am soo ready for summer! Love the photo! 🙂
I can so relate……
No more winter colds!!
Staying as COOL as possible…
LOVE this photo! Yeah for Summer! Whoo Hoo! 🙂
I know the weather has been crazy warm on week cold the next my poor tomato plants have taken a beating. but its humid bad here in my neck of the woods in Ontario and the mosquitos are huge this year! Im looking forward visiting my sister and sitting around her pool.
Can’t wait for summer to start!
Great picture..
This spring has been such a tease, one minute is hot, sunny and summer weather. And then the next it is cold , wet ,winter weather.
Great picture! Summer doesn’t seem to want to come this year 🙁
Nice shot 😀
