Finding Nemo, Tinker Bell, Cinderella: Heading to LA! #DisneyInHomeBloggers

This next week I’m attending a special event in California with Disney. Even though it’s been a busy traveling month for me, partaking in this particular event has become a beloved tradition for me these past few years. Each one leaves me with great memories, incredible insight and let’s admit – a whole lot of astonishing fun.

On the agenda is learning about and sharing in the celebration of 3 great happenings in the Disney world of home entertainment, for this fall.

Here’s a rough overview of what will be covered during my time in LA:

disneyI’m sure you’ve heard the exciting news, soon you can catch Finding Nemo in theatres again. This time in 3D! We’ll be seeing an advance screening of this very popular film, one which has easily become one of my own all-time favorites.

It has such a unique and great story, and very hilarious {Ellen Degeneres owns it, right?!}. I think this particular film is perfectly suited for 3D, especially while cruisin’ the East Australian Current. I better prep my cheeks now, I know I’ll be smiling during the entire screening of this film.

~ Finding Nemo 3D comes to theaters on September 14th and to Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack on December 4th. Watch the Finding Nemo 3D trailer here:

A screen shot of a personOh, Tinker Bell – you have my heart! Remember my time spent covering Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue in LA a couple years ago? Well there’s a new DVD coming out featuring the fab fairies and a new adventure – Secret of the Wings!

I will be taking in an advance screening, have a meet & greet with Tinker Bell and her sister Periwinkle at Disneyland and tour the Disney Toon Studios. Plus, I ‘ll be going behind-the-scenes on the making of Secret of the Wings and interview its filmmakers Peggy Holmes and producer Makul Wigert.

* Secret of the Wings will be available on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack & HD Digital Download on October 23rd. Watch the trailer here:

Disney and CinderellaDisney is almost synonymous with Cinderella, no? Over 60 years ago she made her appearance and it’s a classic that cannot be overlooked and will always be held in high regard.

Regarding this title, we will be touring the Animation Research Library’s prized collection of Cinderella memorabilia and artifacts; interview ARL Research Director, Lella Smith & Research Manager, Fox Carney and visit the Cinderella Transformation Lounge.

* Cinderella: Diamond Edition will be available on Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack on October 2nd. Watch the trailer here:

Myself and the other bloggers attending will be using the hashtag #DisneyInHomeBloggers, so make sure to follow for live information on whats happening at the event. As well, I’ll be sharing tidbits on my Twitter and Facebook pages.

Another Magical Disney trip awaits!
