½tspChili flakesdried {less or more depending on your preference}
¼tspCinnamon powder
¼tspGinger powder
dash Salt and Pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine all ingredients except for the potatoes in a large bowl. Whisk together until completely mixed.
Add the wedges of potatoes, and with clean hands, mix them around to bring the coating from the bottom to the top to ensure all pieces of potato get covered with the sweet/spicy mixture.
On a parchment lined baking sheet, lay out the wedges so they don’t overlap.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Check them at the 15 minute mark to flip them. Check again at the 25 minute mark to ensure they’re not burning because of the sugar, or if they maybe need more time cooking {Cooking time will depend on the size of the wedges of potato}.
Upon serving, garnish with a drizzle more of maple syrup.
