Juice of 1 Orange

Maple Syrup {or sugar}
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a medium size pan, cook on medium heat, stirring often.
I prefer the apples in compote to still have a little bite to them, so I only cook for 10-12 minutes. If you overcook them, they will turn out mushy.
Serve warm over ice cream, oatmeal, yogurt. Don't forget to have some whipped cream on the side. Everything is better with whipped cream!
