CARAMEL FROSTING
1/4cupbrown sugar
1cupof caramels
2Tablespoonsmilk
1Tablespoonbutter
+
1Tablespoonbutter {softened to room temperature}
2cupsicing sugar
1-4TablespoonsMilk {depending on desired consistency}
Instructions
Frosting
Mix the 4 ingredients together in a microwave safe container, and place in the microwave for 20 seconds. Remove from the microwave and stir and continue to microwave in 20 second increments until caramel is smooth.
Refrigerate until it is completely cooled {even overnight} The caramel mix will become stiff, but not hard.
Remove the mixture from the refrigerator, and using a mixer, beat the caramel 1-2 minutes.
Add 1 Tablespoon of butter and blend well.
Add the icing sugar and mix until creamy.
To obtain your desired consistency, slowly add milk starting with 1 Tablespoon. Mix after each addition of 1 tbsp milk and stop when you've reached your desired consistency of caramel.
Spoon the caramel sauce on the brownie.
