Ingredients

pumpkin puree {not pumpkin pie mix)}

chocolate chips
divided for some in batter and some sprinkled on top
Instructions
Lightly grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt
In a medium bowl combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, vanilla, and sour cream until smooth.
Using a fork, sift the flour mixture once more and make a "well" in the flour mix
Pour the wet ingredients into the flour well and whisk together until smooth.
Fold 1 cup of chocolate chips into the batter
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle 1/3 cup chocolate chips on top
Bake at 375 for 60-75 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Cool in the pan away from the stove or on a wire rack for 20 minutes.
