Hi Heather, they come in a kit – containers, lids and soil pucks.
And, FYI, which made me a little mad – the refill pucks are pretty much the same price as buying the entire kit all over again…Boo!!
LOL
I have the same setup!! Look at a garden center for large quantities of peat pucks. I got a bag of 100 last year for the price I paid for two of those little greenhouse trays.
Also – look up ‘hardening’ your plants. It is essential. They cannot go straight from your greenhouse into the ground or they will die. Ask me how I know that this is a step you cannot skip. [headline: entire garden started in greenhouse dies on second day in the ground]
Thanks for the hardening tip, Heidi! I will most certainly do that this year.
And..I did go to a gardening place and their pucks were 15 cents each – which amounted to more than a new kit costs.
Maybe you hit a sale? I know I’ll be watching for a sale on them this fall!
Where did you get the planter lids? Did you buy them like that? I want to start a garden. Is it too late?

Very cleaver! My basil and oregano is growing so some fresh herbs soon:)
I’ve already got some seedlings (and sprouts!) growing outside. I love this time of year.
Wow- I’m impressed!
Have a great day!

How cool! I really wish I had a green thumb, but I don’t. 🙁
I love Spring! 🙂
My thumb is a work in progress!
Some grow great, others unfortunately pass away. RIP little ones…but, hey – I try!!
Great idea! I hope you have many great blooms!
