Wordless Wednesday ~ One Year {with Linky}

Last week we took a family trip to the Zoo. We stopped for ice cream and I realized that we ate ice cream exactly one year prior, on the same benches at the Zoo. I recalled taking a photo of my little Sophia that day, so I took another photo for comparison. What a change in one year!!

…Only this time, Mom was smarter and ordered ice cream in a cup for the twins!

    1. Oh I know, this Mom is so paranoid about dirty clothes … sometimes. In this case, we were going out for dinner later, I wanted to save some steps in re-dressing them all. Worked just great!
      🙂

    2. I guess when you have 3 of them,, it makes a difference. only 1 change of clothes per day 🙂

      1. That could be it, Lynette. I try to downsize the work as much as I can. My 3 could take me down if I’m not on top of things! 🙂

  1. I hear you. I don’t want my baby Mya to grow up but at the same time can’t wait to see her do so many firsts :)! Sophia is beautiful just like her sisters!

  2. Time flies!! What great comparison pictures. My kids love ice cream cones … I prefer for them to have dish – waaay less mess – but I usually let them have the cone in summer at least! 🙂

  3. Smart mummy,
I too cringe at having to wash stacks of dirty clothes due to feeding mess.. my kids love cones too but I give them an ice-cream cup rather then cone if they are eating by themselves.

  4. So crazy how time flies. Love the comparison! How funny that you were doing the same thing exactly a year ago!

  5. Omg, that comparison photo is priceless!!! Indeed, what a difference a year makes. 🙂 Happy WW!

  6. Too cute! Love these photos and can always remember my sister looking like your first one when she was little. And it was because of that memory that I used to always order my sons in a cup when he was young.

  7. How darling! This brough back memories of me taking my kids to the zoo (they are 10 and 12 now and we haven’t been in a while!)

    Hugs,
    Genny

  8. Love comparison pictures. That is really neat the way you were doing the same thing. It’s really awesome that you remembered and were able to get the shot.

  9. We have pictures JUST like that at the zoo, icecream running down those little cheeks. 🙂

    1. funny you should mention that, Dexie! In the first photo, I forgot hats, I had to buy them there – $20 each! Oy!

    1. I know, right? When do they learn that spilling is wasting delicious ice cream? Shameful… lol
      🙂
