White Diamonds Perfume by Elizabeth Taylor

When I think of a timeless, classic perfume, White Diamonds Perfume by Elizabeth Taylor comes to mind. It’s been around for 20 dazzling years, it is one of the most successful celebrity fragrances.

Of course, perfume is very individual and like all others – you love it or hate it , but either way, it’s scent is one that is never forgotten.

Inducted into the Fragrance Foundation’s FIFI Awards Hall of Fame in 2009 alongside Davidoff Cool Water {my personal all-time fave}, it has top notes of Amazon Lily, Italian Neroli and Crisp Aldehyde; heart notes of Egyptian Tuberose, Narcisse, Turkish Rose, Jasmine and Italian Orris; and base notes of Amber, Oakmoss, Patchouli and Sandalwood.

White Diamonds is as signature as perfume gets, and once someone loves this scent – they love it forever. Likewise, for those that know someone who wears this scent, capturing it’s scent will bring fond memories of that person. For me, it always reminds me of my mother.

Elizabeth Taylor said of her beloved fragrance, “I think most women love diamonds and this perfume captures the sparkle of diamonds. Every woman, no matter how small it is, covets a diamond. If you have it as a perfume it’s the same sense of sparkle and uplift. It’s diamonds in a bottle“.

Available alone or in gift sets, purchase at fine department stores nationwide.
