Chicken is by far the most popular meat in my family; and I am sure it is for most people. Versatile and delicious, some of our favourite recipes are ones like Skillet Chicken Pot Pie, Mississippi Chicken and Potatoes, and Baked Hawaiian Chicken.

I’m always on the hunt for unique chicken breast recipes. Similar to our One Pan Orange Chicken, this recipe is a one pan stovetop chicken recipe that uses a few simple ingredients to infuse some flavour into the meat.

Another is the flavour-packed Skillet Monterey Chicken. YUM!

This Honey Dijon Garlic Chicken recipe was made when I had a couple of Cream of Chicken Soup cans in the pantry that needed to be used up. Knowing we wouldn’t be enjoying it as soup anytime soon, I decided to incorporate it into a recipe. And, I always look to chicken first.

I found a recipe for Mustard Chicken using the soup, yet I immediately knew that it wasn’t for us. My kids and mustard don’t mesh well, and I knew they’d ban together and form a strike against dinner if I opted for a strong mustard recipe.

Combining mustard with honey and garlic provides the perfect blend of sweetness, heat and flavor. Not one is overpowering over the other, yet a balance of taste that makes one heck of a chicken dish.

Better yet, the chicken cooks in the sauce, making it incredibly moist. Thats the first thing the kids and I noticed at that first bite, actually. Moist tender chicken, then the flavour hits.

Rather than baked and just coating the outside, this recipe allows the taste to go right into the meat. YUM!
