Simple Life Changing Habits for the Good

Organization is key in life. There are many people out there who are simply not organized, and this is what causes the chaos, the rushing, the headaches and the stress. It doesn’t too much to start setting in habits to get yourself on a schedule and become a happier person as a result.

Events and to do lists should be organized using a calendar or planner, a helpful resource is this huge lot of free printables to organize your home. It doesn’t need to be fancy, just make this an item that you refer to each day. Before bed take some time to write down everything that needs to be done for the next day. That’s it. Just write it down and refer back to it the next day when it’s time to get things done. The goal is to cross off that list so it’s behind you.

Food is important for all humans, and eating well is the key to your health. Even if you can’t fit in exercise, eating well will keep your body in check when it comes to nutrients and how often you get sick. Start meal planning, as it will help save money since you can plan exactly what you need from the grocery store for the week. In doing so you’ll also find that eating healthier becomes easier. Each week set a time to plan out what you are going to eat for the next 7 days, and stick to that plan. This makes planning around sporting events, appointments and to dos – a breeze!

Water – we all know how much we’re told to drink, but sometimes it’s hard to get that water in! I’m guilty of realizing at the end of the day, that I’ve maybe had two cups of water. Not good. Make it your mission to drink that water regularly throughout the day, better yet – with lemon! Lemon water has amazing qualities and the benefits are great.

Money management is another thing that will save you time and of course, money! When you plan out your events, and your meals, also take time to plan out your budget. Jot down how much you make each month, the cost of all your bills, as well as what you can save. This is an eye opener about how much money is spent where it doesn’t need to be.

Wake Up Early – This is no joke. Wake up 20 minutes earlier than you normally do and you will understand why so many people wake up at 5am. It’s not because they just do, they have things to get done and waking up early is how you can make that happen while feeling energized throughout the day. To those that aren’t “morning people”, you can make yourself become a morning person by changing up your bed time routine. Start with baby steps of 5 minutes. A good nights sleep is a great habit for the good!

Give Yourself Time To Relax! – It’s always important to set time aside each day to relax. It doesn’t need to be much, a few minutes, five in the morning and five in the evening, to get your mind to relax and regain focus on what needs to be done. Letting yourself have a bubble bath for twenty minutes once week isn’t such a bad idea either! Though sometimes even this isn’t feasible {me time, what’s that?}, so think of the little ways to rejuvenate the mind and body. We’re creatures of multitasking but sometimes you have to designate your full attention on one thing and one thing only. Make you one of them.

When life throws chaos your way, you have to be prepared to take it on. Follow these simple concepts to create a healthy lifestyle that will allow your body and mind to be ready to take on the world.
