Sheraton Macao Partners with Dreamworks
When it comes to traveling with kids, some hotels just knock it out of the park.
Sheraton Macao is one of those hotels. The property, which boasts almost 4,000 rooms on the Cotai Strip, has partnered with Dreamworks to offer fun and interactive programs that let kids get face-to-face with their favourite Dreamworks characters like Shrek and Kung-Fu Panda.

Here’s how they’re doing it:
Shrekfast: Yep, you read that right. Shrekfast combines a huge buffet breakfast with the chance to meet Shrek and several other Dreamworks characters. Food options include everything from traditional Chinese breakfast to omelets, pancakes, waffles and almost anything else you’d ever want (seriously, it’s huge!). While you eat, Dreamworks characters from Madagascar, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and more will come out, dance, and mingle in the audience for photos. It’s great fun for the whole family!
Cost: 100 Hong Kong Dollars per person (about $12 USD)
Dreamworks Family Suites: The hotel has some great suites available for you and the kids. A room divider separates adult space from kid’s space—but their space might make you envious! Here you’ll find kid’s robes, tea sets, entertainment areas and more, all set to a certain theme. Look at this adorable Kung Fu Panda room!
Family suite rooms include free wi-fi, two dragon training camp tickets, free breakfast, complimentary movie and more.
Cost: Prices start around 2,800 HKD

How To Train Your Dragon Camp: In this fun camp, kids are taught how to be “junior dragon trainers.” They’ll get to decorate their own Viking helmet, work on arts & crafts & aerobics, and at the end, they’ll meet Toothless the Dragon and get an official dragon training certificate!
Cost: 150 HKD for one child + one adult. Program runs until Dec. 31, 2014
All in all, I highly recommend this hotel as a fun family destination. The pool is great, the spa is awesome, and there’s so much to see and do!
