Residence Inn by Marriott

According to a Mom Central poll of 1300 Moms, 66% of them plan on staying at a hotel this summer. This statistic I can relate to, as I know I prefer the space and convenience of staying a hotel, versus staying with a friend or relative. And, couple an affordable price with the fact that we get a break from household duties – I’m always game to stay in a hotel!

Once you choose a travel destination, the next question is always, “Where do we stay??” Residence Inn by Marriott has renovated some of their suites to meet the needs of traveling families. Unlike business travelers who can do with the bare minimal when it comes to hotel rooms, the newly renovated suites include free hot breakfast daily, free Internet access, and some even have a door that separates the bedrooms from the living area for extra privacy and a much needed family breather at the end of a long day. These rooms also boast a full sleek kitchen with microwave, stove or cooktop, dishwasher, dining table with stools and gorgeous marble countertops. And, when you just want to relax after running frA kitchen with an island in the middle of a roomom landmark to scenic view, most properties have a pool and outdoor recreational spaces for kids to run off any remaining energy. Spacious, modern bathrooms and all the key aspects of making the stay feel like home makes Residence Inn by Marriott a home-away-from-home!

Speaking from experience from a traveling family of 5 – I can say these new amenities and features are more than welcome with us! We stayed in a hotel room for 2 weeks in Mexico that didn’t have any of these fantastic amenities. Though we survived, it was no-where near as spacious and comfortable as these new rooms would have been. And, when traveling with kids, you want your holiday to be a true holiday. I can definitely see myself kicking it up and relaxing at a Residence Inn by Marriott. When your family travels this summer, remember to book at a Residence Inn by Marriott!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Residence Inn by Marriott and received a chance to win a weekend stay at a Residence Inn to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central also sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
