Pine Lake Leisure Club

In a previous post, I showed you our cabin accommodations, during our stay at the Pine Lake Leisure Club with thanks to Parkbridge. Yet, a #glamping experience isn’t complete, without all the great amenities that this resort has to offer.

Pine Lake Leisure Club has some great amenities for their guests, ones that really up the bar when it comes to lake-side living.

Heated Outdoor Pool – Our stay was during one of the hottest weeks of the summer, so of course having an outdoor pool was heaven. The kids were so excited about this amenity, we took a dip many times over the course of that weekend.

Arcade Game Room – to break from the heat and to just have an option to fill the days, Pine Lake Leisure Club has a arcade games room!

Located in the main rec hall, it’s steps away from the pool. There’s also a jukebox and pool tables – popular with both kids and adults.

Leisure Club Activities – Each day during the summer, there is club activities for kids aged 5-12, and you can see what’s happening on a bulletin board in the arcade room and outside the Leisure Centre front doors.

Organized by Leisure Club staff, these activities are great for kids to meet friends and a chance to try a new or favourite activity.

Playgrounds – I loved that there was a playground just behind our cabin, the kids were there a lot during our stay.

It’s so nice to have the kids within earshot of the cabin, if you are busy making dinner or just relaxing on the deck.

There’s also a generous sized and fun playground on the beach, in close proximity to the main cabin where the pool is.

You could literally find a spot in the grass or on the picnic tables and have everything a short distance away!

General Store – the main cabin offers a general store, which comes in handy since we all forget something for a stay. Myself – I forgot the ketchup!

The prices at the grocer are very reasonable, I was happily surprised to see that items weren’t crazy in price when compared to the city – something that you don’t see often. And, I really love this!

Snack Shack – Right beside the grocery store is the Snack Shack, with snacks and food for those days when you don’t want to cook.

We ordered lunch here one day and then sat on the main cabin tables, overlooking the lake. The food was delicious as was the view.

They also have ice cream, slushies and treats, which we could resist later on in the day.

The Lake – I can’t forget Pine Lake itself! The resort has a huge stretch of beach and easy access to the lake and off to the side, docks for boats.

Playing at the lake is pretty self explanatory, yet I have to give kudos to the huge water trampoline off shore.

Anyone can swim out and jump, sit and relax and take it all in – this is a popular hangout for the teens!

Pine lake Leisure Club also has a Workout Area in the Rec Hall, Horseshoe pits, Volleyball court and more.

It’s also very close to golf courses and such a beautiful part of Alberta – you may just want to go for a hike and explore the land.

Pine Lake Leisure Club is a true Alberta gem.

Plus, it’s so central to the province that people from all over can easily come for a stay.

It’s a true community in every sense of the word, we met many nice people just during our weekend stay.

I can see why people make it a yearly tradition or even purchase a spot for seasonal use. We had so much fun #glamping in the cabins, I’m sure we’ll be back!
