Our Walt Disney World Memories Video

Recently I made a ‘Memories Video’ of our first} trip to Walt Disney World. Made as a keepsake for the family to watch now and years later, I also wanted to share our memories with you as well. Good times are meant to be shared, right?

Even though my Wordless Wednesday’s are always photos of interesting moments in my life, this video is full of favorite moments. So a video it shall be.

So have a great week everyone and remember to take some time to slow down your chaos and appreciate life, your kids, laughter and fun.

Check out my other Disney World posts from our time at the
Disney Social Media Moms Celebration 2012.

    1. Thanks Steve, it was such a blast!
I use iMovie ’11, so easy to use but I wish they had more templates

  1. Awesome video! My WW post is Disney again too! I think we were there close to the same time. I wasn’t there for Disney Social Media Moms Celebration (although I would have loved to have attended!) but I was there around the same time it was going on. Seems like that happens every year, LOL!

    Happy WW ΒΊoΒΊ

    1. I caught your post and possibly one from last week too {?}, and was wondering if we went at the same time. Would have been great to meet up!
      Maybe next year?! πŸ˜›

    1. Ahh, you are sweet Kristi.
I do have so much video, sometimes it’s nice to have a teaser!

  2. Great Video Tammi! You’re very talented πŸ™‚ What an excellent way to capture memories!

    1. Oh, the castle… the show at night is nothing short of spectacular! I honestly think my jaw was dropped the entire time, just amazing!

    1. Thanks Michelle, I feel so fortunate and blessed that we could share Disney with each other. We made so many memories!!

  3. Wow! I loved it. I wish that Walt Disney World wasn’t so far for us. I get a little tired of Disneyland every year.

    1. Well, both are a long way from me, so I’d take either, lol!
Have you been to WDW world before Danielle?

      1. Never been there. Florida is just too far to travel to for this California girl. Perhaps some day…I’ll put it on my bucket list.

  4. What an awesome way to easily store all the images and watch it for years to come! Now I may copy and do this with EVERYTHING–well maybe just vacations πŸ™‚

    1. I try and make videos when I can Alisha, I have some precious ones of when the twins were little. I need to make them more often though, better at capturing everything about the time.

  5. I’m glad you had a fun time! The video was pretty sweet. I’ve never been there. My older sister’s trying to make me go. I just have a hard time because I know it’s so expensive.

    1. Thanks Kristi, that is sweet! the girls ask to watch the video a million times a day, happy to give them this memory!

  6. That video was amazing!! Can I ask what editing program you used? You captured wonderful moments. =)

    1. Thanks Mimi!
I used iMovie on my Mac, wish they had more templates but overall a great program to use

  7. Fun times! When we took our kids many years ago my husband filmed the event and we got back to the room and there was no film in the camera! Oh well, it’s in our memories!

    1. Oh no!!
So many people have done that.
My husband still talks about the time his parents took them to the zoo when the Pandas from China were visiting {once in a lifetime experience here}. Same thing – got home and no film! It’ll be a family story for generations, I’m sure!
These days? Well, I tend to forget to charge my camera a lot. Ahhh!

  8. Looks like so much fun! We are going this year (either Oct or Dec, still trying to figure it out) and you have gotten me extra excited about it now πŸ™‚

    1. Yay!!!
How exciting! That would be a great time to go!
Good luck and have fun planning your trip!

  9. I can’t wait to take my kids to Disney World in November! I was there alone last month (and I’ll be at Disneyland next month) but there’s something special about sharing it with kids!

    1. Agreed, there’s nothing like seeing the kids in wonder at Disney, love their little expressions of awe at everything. Heck, I had the same expressions on my face too!

  11. “A Tammi Film”…I love it! Great job! And I definitely want to see this movie…in 3D! πŸ™‚

  12. My 4 y.o. son watched the video with me. His comment, “That was a funny movie.”

It looks like you had a great time.

  13. WOW!! That’s an awesome video!!! You’re a great video producer! It looks like you had a blast too, great way to preserve those memories.

  14. Hello there! This article could not be written any better!

him. Pretty sure he’ll have a good read. Thanks for sharing!
