New York City at Night

I just got back from a whirlwind trip to New York City for the BlogHer ’12 Conference. Thousands of photos to sort through and much sleep to catch up on {someone pass the coffee, please}.

For now, a couple photos of the ever-fabulous NYC at night! Breathtaking and full of life. It was my first visit to the big apple and hopefully not the last!

  1. Gorgeous photos Tammi! It was great chatting with you during Sparklecorn. Hope you had a pleasant trip home. 🙂

  2. How exciting! I didn’t go this year, but I’m hoping for next! Glad you went and enjoyed it!

  3. Wonderful photos! I’m so jealous! I would have loved to go to BlogHer this year and I’m only a 20 minute train ride from NYC. Hopefully next year though!

    1. It was on my ‘must see list’, so happy to have finally gone.
What an incredible city, you must make it there someday!

  4. I Love NY 🙂 So magical! I’ve only been to Time Square once but it was a trip of a lifetime. Have an awesome week.

    1. Agreed Nicole.
I was also IN a Flash Mob in Times Square while there. It was amazing! Will be posting about it soon!

    1. Ha, thats what my husband said, ‘looks so clean there!’
      Ummm, no.
      But beautiful nonetheless!

  5. Great photos! I have never been to New York and never had any desire to go until recently. Maybe one day I will get there 🙂

    1. Me too Theresa, it was my fave time of day. Yet, it didn’t cool off much – man, is it hot and muggy there! {says the Western Canadian gal} lol

    1. That’s too bad Amy, but I agree – wayyyy too many people there. With 5,000 bloggers and full agendas, there’s many I didn’t see. 🙁

    1. That’s too bad! It was overcrowded though, they really needed a bigger and better space to host that many bloggers.

  6. Bet you had a great time! I’ve never been to NYC either and must go one of these days 🙂

    Happy WW!

    1. Much honking, music, talking – very loud in general. There’s something to see at every turn and so much buzz and energy in the air.
I thought it would be stressful yet if you aren’t rushing to get to a place like the millions around you, it’s oddly peaceful. I found that is was actually relaxing to watch the rush, while I didn’t have to. Make sense?

    1. It was fantastic Carol, hope I am able to visit again one day. No conference, just sightseeing and wandering around more. So much to see!

    1. I missed you too Mimi?! Awe, that’s a shame!!
I’ve said it before, but there was way too many people there and way too spread out. So many missed opportunities when it’s that huge and hectic!

    1. That was an amazing view!! I could have stayed up there eating Pinkberry for a long time! lol

    1. The plan was to be In TO in Oct with Fisher-Price, yet those plans have changed, so I won’t be there. Sorry to miss it this year! 🙁

  7. oh your City photos are amazing!!! I can’t wait to be able to just stroll the CITY :]

    1. Nice! I love that it’s full of action, yet you have the little parks and areas that are so peaceful and calm. Quite the place!

  8. Gorgeous photo’s!! Do you have more for those of us who will never get there:)

    1. That would have been nice Lori! So many people there, I didn’t see many whom I had set out to!

  9. WOW!! Awesome photos! I love New York, and can’t wait until I have a chance to go back, as I haven’t been there in years (the towers were still there when I last went…) It looks like you had a wonderful time!!

  10. Those pictures make me long to go back to New York!

It’s a fabulous and wonderful city isn’t it? The first time I went back in 2010, everyone kept asking me, “Is this your first time to New York?” Apparently everyone KNOWS how incredible it is ^.^
