Blamtastic Lip Balm

Saying my daughter likes lip balm is an understatement. For years now, she has asked for it for birthdays and Christmas, begged for it in stores, chosen it as a prize at the Dentists’ and even took mine off the counter and snuck it to school.Blamtastic Lip Balm I don’t mind her wearing a little natural looking balm, yet my darker and expensive balms just aren’t for her. Blamstastic Lip Balm is a brand that was made BY kids, FOR kids. Started by the Sandler sisters {I can totally see young sisters coming up with this great idea!}, their goal was a great lip balm that has a SPF of 15, and not tested on animals and is Paraben and Petroleum free.

Thanks to Blamtastic, I received a great variety of their lip balms for review. Or, should I say my daughter almost fainted from all the shock, then claimed most of them as her own. I really don’t think she’s reacted this way even to a box of candy before, but this lip balm made her squeal, jump and hug me tremendously {I like hugs, and will take any I can get from her these days. So I didn’t tell her that they weren’t from me. *wink*}. You can probably tell by names such as Strawberry Shake and O.M.G {oh my grape}, that these balms are made to smell good. And, I’m happy to say they smell great! And the scents aren’t an overwhelming, ‘fake’ smell either. They are really delicious smells, and I can see why kids go crazy about them. As for my daughter, she’s specified which ones were for which days of the week. Oh, and then there’s the car-balm, the backpack-balm and the purse-balm…like I said, she’s loves her lip balm!

Blamstastic would make one excellent stocking stuffer for any girl or boy {since they have a whole line of balms for boys!}. This is an especially great gift for our long and cold Canadian winters – keep those lips covered! These balms can also come with sleeves, so that the balms can clip to their belt loops or the zippers on winter coats. I really appreciate this bonus, since they aren’t lost so easily and are at an arms reach when you need them. And, mine is safely clipped to my purse, to prevent those sticky hands from walking away with it so easily. Though Blamtastic is available for purchase from Amazon.com, it is way cheaper to buy straight from the Blamtastic website {just $2.99 for a balm and a sleeve}. There is also a list of retailers on the website, tons for all over North America {yes, Canada too!}.

  37. I love the contest for choosing the next flavor…but seriously…my teenage daughter has always had trouble with chapped lips…year round. I hate the way teenagers share chap stick so I always buy lots and tell her that once a friend borrows, she has to let them keep it…I bet she won’t let them borrow these! How fun to win a sample for her! I don’t mean to be greedy, but I am hoping she will win!

    I also love the fact the lip balms don’t go on waxy. I have a super sensative Autistic four year old boy, and textures drive him wild. We been searching for a great lip balm for his cracked chapped lips for years that he will actually use.
