The Lake Life

This past weekend the kids and I {along with a friend and her kids}, took a double family road trip to Pine Lake, Alberta. We stayed at Parkbridge Leisure Club, a place that truly perfected the art of glamping.

More about our weekend will come but for now, I’m sharing a snapshot of The Lake Life. Gotta love summers in Alberta, the sun doesn’t fully set until almost 11pm.

  1. We stayed at a lake all one summer and my kids that are now grown still reflect about memories made there. Beautiful photo.

  2. We’ll be spending time at the lake when we visit my parents soon. I love lazy days at the lake!

  3. Very beautiful indeed… And the sun out until 11PM OMG, my girls would not want to go to bed for ever.
Can’t wait to read all about the details about the trip.

  7. This has got to be one of the best vacations you can take your kids on. The memories are so special; mine are from my own childhood & trips like this are a treasure for families.

  8. Hi, and thank you for sharing at Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) at In Him We Live and Move and Have Our Being. I wanted to let you know that I’m transitioning to a new site – http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com – which will have a photography focus. Currently there are two pages. One is where I will host Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) each week at midnight on Tuesday, Eastern Standard Time. The second is a place for you to link up your main blog url if you host a weekly Wordless linkup. Eventually I hope to include some photography how-to’s and resources. If you have any suggestions of content you’d be interested in, please email me at image.in.ing at gmail dot com.
Thanks, and I hope to see you there!
