It’s Market Season! {Wordless Wednesday with Linky}

The city market opened this month, officially kicking off the summer season here in Alberta, Canada. From handmade to handpicked – I just love the market atmosphere. I try to schedule a morning trip to the Saturday market every week {that we are in town}. I consider it a great way to start the weekend.

Do you have a favorite summer weekend activity?

  2. What a fun summer collage! I hope you’ll join Live and Love out Loud and myself for our sun summer photog challenge. It starts this Friday and the first prompt is flowers.

    1. Oh Alicia – your talent almost scares me away!!! I’ll admire form afar?!
      I might gain the courage…..maybe….eeek!

  3. We have a summer night market. Its open fri, sat and sunday nights from 6ish – midnight. Its all venders from asia who bring over stuff and set up booths, everything from purses, jewelery, food, art, plants etc. Its alot of fun πŸ™‚

    1. A night market?! That would be great, I’d love to catch one of those. Wonder where I can find one…..

  4. The pictures look AWESOME! It looks like you guys had fun. Summer began back in January here in Texas. Bummer. lol I’m fighting mosquitos and leather seats that burn my butt. *sigh*

  5. Our favorite thing to do is get as few mosquito bites as possible for every day it’s nice outside! =) We really enjoy baseball games and visiting with family.

  6. Yum!! That would be a great way to start the weekend, for sure. We’ll be going camping whenever we possibly can, but our summer weekends will mostly be the same as they are now. Celebrating Shabbat and relaxing with family. πŸ™‚

  7. We have small tiny farmers markets and I cannot wait to take my kids to it again! I’d love to visit a larger city market like you went to. Looks like such fun and wonderful finds!

  8. I adore the Saturday Market! It is one of my favorite family activities. Good food, music and atmosphere. Relaxing and stimulating all at the same time.

  9. Gorgeous pictures. They sure make one want to go out and find the nearest market!!

  10. Looks like you guys got a jump on the perfect summer. I wish we had a market here. All we have is the supercenters and grocery stores. What I wouldn’t give to be able to shop at a market…ahhh well…GREAT photos!

  11. LOVE the market. We went to the opening weekend of one of the wee local farmer’s markets this weekend, but there was very little produce. I can’t wait ’til things get in full swing.

  12. Our local farmer’s market starts this Saturday and I’m SO excited to {hopefully} go! Those are all great pictures πŸ™‚
