Flashback
The other day I took the twins to a brief doctors appt and snapped a photo with my phone. I then realized that I took a similar photo in 2011, only they were wearing gowns.
Flashback!

Let’s take a minute to celebrate the technological advancements in phone cameras, the general look of our doctors offices and the improvement in my own shutter skills {what up 2011?!}.
The twins? Well, they are a little older and a little taller, yet still as cute and silly today as they were then!
I need to dig out the old photos more often!

Heheh! what nice smiles and yeas you can see the difference in quality of the photos 😉
That is so cool! Thanks for sharing. The girls are super cute, by the way. 😉
Thanks Christina!
🙂
They sure have changed since the previous photo and your right, cameras on phones, who would have thought. I never use my camera any more. Happy Valentines!!
I have to remind myself to not use the phone sometimes!
Wow, how they are grown! And yes, the quality of the 2011 picture leaves a lot to be desired. Now you have me thinking that I would love to do some sort of flashback for a future wordless wednesday. I realize yours was done unintentionally, which made it so awesome, but I love looking back and seeing how things have changed.
I agree, I’d like to do it more often, even try and re-create some of the oldies. Would be so fun!

Lovely comparison Tammy – seems we were on the same “archival” track back this week!! YAM xx
We certainly are, must be the week to reminisce!
😉
My have the ever grown. I agree, the phone improvements make all the difference. I have some photos on my 5s that look like my DSLR could have taken it!
Yes! If the lighting is superb, I have gotten some fantastic photos from my phone. Doesn’t happen often but sure surprises me when it does. I’m so anti-flash, lol.
They are so cute it’s almost sick! ;D
Ha, thanks!!
I love this! So great to have the comparison, what a cool shot. Have a great week!
Thanks Jessica, have a great week yourself!
🙂
They are adorable, big and small. I love finding the same photo years later. It makes for a really fun WW.
It certainly does! Have a great week Rhonda!
I love flashback pictures like this. Yep. They are as cute as eva! 🙂
Same here, I tried finding a doctors office photo of my oldest but I don’t think i took one ever… makes me realize to take more candid/ordinary shots. You never know when you’ll want to look back on the simple yet special times!
Isn’t that adorable, can’t believe what a difference just a few years makes.
Agree!
Oh so cute!
Thanks Laura!
It’s like they changed a lot, but didn’t. Make sense?
Makes total sense, older but still similar to then.
They are so cute!
Thank you, I tend to agree! 😉
That is a neat comparison, makes me want to break out the old albums! 🙂
I know, I should do that more often!
Awe – isn’t it fun to look back through old camera photos! Your girls are adorable!
It is, makes me happy I take spontaneous photos! Thanks Nicole, have a great rest of the week!
Aww they were cute then and now! I love their little outfits.
Thanks! Freezing cold here but sometimes I give up on saying no to dresses. These girls would live in them day and night if I let them!
They look cute in both photos. They do grow up fast!
I remember when you had trouble keeping their diapers on at night, and at nap time.
What a pair. Cute!

I love this type of shot Tammi when you can see the difference a few years make, they are so much fun to look at!
Great flashback! The twins are adorable. And yes, isn’t it amazing how much camera phones have improved? Remember our old flip phone camera phones? Those were awful! Happy Wednesday!
Time changes everything…yet they twins remain adorable!
This makes me want to upgrade my iPhone, it’s from 2011 haha. Cute photos, I wish I was that happy to be at the doctor’s 🙂
you should a copy send to the Dr; so cute
How quickly time flies!
wow! Your girls have definitely grown up! I agree that they grow up way too fast. When I’m in the moment, I wish they would grow up faster (yes, we are in the terrible 2 phase with the youngest right now), but once they are out of it and I look back, boy do I notice how much they have grown.
wow, what a difference!! they grow so fast
Aw- that is really sweet. They look so happy.
ah…the girls are growing fast, Tammi 🙂 Sometimes I wish that I was still Mum to little Sara…she will 26 in September!! Time does fly.
They are absolutely adorable! No matter the age 🙂
Ahh, super cute then and still cute. The girls have grown, technology as grown, and your shutterbug abilities have grown!
Thanks for sharing the girls pic. A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E
adorable. its bitter sweet seeing our children grow up
It’s great that you have the two pictures to remember and compare. Interesting to note the difference in phone photo quality (and photographer skill) in just a couple years. Thanks for sharing.
