BuyCostumes.com

It’s October! Do your kids have their Halloween costumes yet?
If not, maybe you are like me when it comes to
shopping for costumes:
Not a great selection, over-priced for quality and
waiting for that sale{then there’s less of a selection}.

Have you heard about BuyCostumes.com?
I have been a visitor to this site for many years, just because they have such a wide selection of items for everyone in the whole family, Their prices are fair, and they are always having a sale. In fact, I subscribe to their newsletter, and there is some great code for percentages off and free shipping – all year around.
I appreciate browsing around BuyCostumes.com because the site makes it really easy to find what you are looking for. You can narrow down your searches by age, price, type and more. And, you can view pages that you have previously looked. So, if you want to compare similar items, it’s pretty simple. Also, there are honest customer reviews for every product, and you are able to zoom in on each item to see its details.

I had the opportunity to choose a costume for each of my 3 girls, for Halloween this year. When I starting thinking about what they’d be, I spend hours looking at BuyCostumes.com. I also wrote a post on Halloween Costumes for Twins {or families with more than 1 child}, to get even more ideas. Ultimately, I wanted costumes warm and roomy enough for this fine Canadian weather {will it be above zero this year, or freezing with a couple feet of snow?} Since it’s a gamble, I had to get costumes that I could add layers of clothing underneath, if needed.

From animals, to superheros, monsters and movie stars – there is literally every costume imaginable at BuyCostumes.com. And, there is also a great selection of wigs, props, accessories, footwear, decorations and more. Need a costume for the pets? Look to BuyCostumes.com.

I chose a theme for the girls this year:
Isabelle will be Little Bo Peep
& Katie and Sophia will be her sheep!

I chose the sizes based on customer recommendations, which were so helpful. Since it was mentioned that this particular Little Bo Peep costume ran a bit small, I ordered one size larger for Isabelle. Turns out, that was a good move, and there’s enough room for clothes underneath the costume as well. This costume comes with the pants, dress and the hat. When compared to the picture, this costume is so much prettier in person. It’s shiny, with lovely sequin details. It’s definitely not a cheap costume, as the fabric is strong and the stitching tight. The dress has some pouf to it, thanks to a layer of crinoline underneath this makes my little princess happy}. Honestly, it’s a high quality costume that would easily be $50 in stores near me. But, it’s a great price at BuyCostumes.com, and on sale right now for $39.99. {and, it’s available in sizes 2-8}. Last year I paid $40 for a princess dress that ripped within the first half-hour of Isabelle wearing it! Since I want Isabelle’s Halloween costumes to last long after the trick or treating is over {for Play clothes}, having a quality-made and durable costume is needed.

The Twins each got matching Lil Lamb Elite Collection costumes for infants/toddlers {there are sizes for age 6 months – 2 years, and are on sale for $44.99}. These are warm costumes that actually have many layers of fabric, for thickness. It comes with the body, a hat and the booties. Not only is this costume simply adorable {see the little ears! And, there’s a wee tail too!}, but they are actually made to suit the age in which it is intended.. How so? The pants of this costume features snaps for those quick diaper changes! No more taking off the entire costume for a potty break! The sizing is accurate for this costume, all parts fit the twins quite well. Though, I would like the legs to be a bit longer, when the girls sit down, their legs expose a little {but maybe my kids have long legs…?} In any case, I am just smitten with these costumes and cannot wait to take Mary and my little lambs out this Halloween.
Stay tuned for some Sickeningly cute Halloween pictures of my kids in their costumes!!

No, I didn’t forget my readers!
