Boston Pizza’s Kids Cards Program

One of our favorite restaurants to frequent is Boston Pizza. Myself, I have always liked their diverse menu {especially being such a pasta-lover!}. And, everyone in our family appreciates the kid-friendly atmosphere. I admit to being a regular customer for years before I had kids, and it’s one place that I can take my kids to today and still enjoy a great meal out. Unlike some places that have a limited kids’ menu, Boston Pizza has one that doesn’t disappoint. There’s always something that my kids will enjoy!

September 5th is the launch of the Kids Card Program at Boston Pizza. For a minimum five dollar donation to the Boston Pizza Foundation, guests get five free kids meals!! This is a value of more than $35, for your donation. Great deal, isn’t it? Donations support hundreds of local, national and global non-profit organizations committed to making a difference in the lives of Canadian children and families in need {such as the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, Juveniles Diabetes Research Foundation and Kids Help Phone}.

Back of the BPs Kids Card

“Giving back to our community is part of Boston Pizza’s culture,” said Cheryl Treliving, Executive Director of the Boston Pizza Foundation. “The Kids Card program is the perfect way for families to make a meaningful charitable donation while also receiving something special for their kids. Everybody wins. Last year Canadians rallied around our Kids Cards and helped raise over $200,000.” In the last 20 years, the Boston Pizza Foundation has raised more than $12.1 million through the BP Kids Card program and other local and national fundraising initiatives. Isn’t that awesome!!

Boston Pizza’s Kids Menu offers pizzas and kids cheeseburgers, yet they also have healthy and trans-fat free options as well. This includes baked salmon, whole wheat linguini and pizzas on whole wheat crust with fresh toppings. Healthy, kid-approved sides include tossed salad and steamed vegetables as well as Jell-O and a reduced-sugar fruit cup for dessert. Yet, there is the good ‘ol fries as an option for a side too. With 3 kids, I always order 2 healthy sides and one fries. that way they can share a bit of a treat with their meal, while still focusing on health and nutrition.

So, again – make a $5 minimun donation to Kids Cards, and get 5 kids meals in return! This promotion is available at all BP’s locations across Canada. The cards are on sale until September 30th and are able to be used any time between the date of purchase and June 30, 2012.

  1. My favorite BP meal is the BUGS ‘N CHEESE. Because I know DD will eat it all with no complaints!

  2. I usually always order the Zorba, the Greek pizza…but recently I got reckless and ordered something different. I tried the creamy tomato sauce in the “create your own” pasta section and it was awesome! I now have two favorites!

  3. Bandera bread and bbq chicken pizza! Mmmmmmm 🙂
