9 Girls Night Out Ideas

We all know life can be chaotic, especially this time of year. We might talk to our closest friends often, yet this might be moreso on the phone or via text. When was the last time you arranged a fun ladies night with friends?

As busy as our schedules are, ladies nights are therapeutic, so good for the heart and soul. It’s a great chance to catch up face-to-face, recharge those batteries, be ‘you’ and not ‘mom’ for a while,  and give those laugh lines a good workout.

Now the we’ve decided that you need a ladies night, the only thing to figure out is the what to do’s. Whether the group staying at someone’s home or does something in your area – the point out is to get ‘out’ of the ordinary routine.

9 girls night out ideas

Has it been so long that you’re at a loss of what to do on said girls night? Here are some ideas to get you started.

9 Girls Night Out Ideas:

  • Game Night – For example, some friends and I recently got together for a game of Cards Against Humanity. I’m pretty sure there isn’t a game to entice more laughter than this one!
  • Cooking or Baking Night – It can be a cookie exchange for the holidays, a weeks of crock pot meals, or a joined effort for a friend in need. Either way, it’ll be a great time where you leave with memories and most likely multiple dishes or treats!
  • Craft night – This mass trading of talent secrets and tips is becoming more popular then ever. In fact, a friend of mine just went to a holiday ornament party and had such a great time!
  • Movie night – Good friends, a good flick of any genre and plenty of treats – what more could you ask for!
  • Appetizer or Fondue Night – a more relaxed style gathering where you leave with a full belly and more recipes for your own collection!
  • Mani/Pedi Party – Pampering for the body and soul, me-time with friends always leaves you refreshed!
  • Wardrobe night – Another friend of mine recently hosted a clothing swap – a chance to get together, purge items you don’t need anymore and leave with a whole new wardrobe! It’s like going through a friends fabulous wardrobe, yet in a less-sneaky and acceptable way!
  • Local Event – Check if there’s an event, activity or concert in your area – you can most likely even save when getting a group rate.
  • Wine & Cheese tasting – Have everyone bring their favourite bottle of wine and cheese, set it up buffet-style and discover some new favourites as you catch up on old times and what everyone has been up to.

Whether you are hosting a wine and cheese night, game night or that pampering nail party – it’s always a great idea to have a good selection of refreshments on hand for your guests {or bring some along for the host}. It’s courtesy to not arrive empty handed, plus it’s a thoughtful gesture.

I was recently introduced to ENIGMA wines, which I brought to my last girls night out gathering – and they were a hit with myself and my best girl friends. In fact, we had to bring out more wine glasses after some ladies accepted offers to taste others, and then wanted their own glass.

The Cabernet Sauvignon ENIGMA {California wine} has intense fruit aromas and notes of black cherry, coffee, chocolate and vanilla – yum! Full bodied, the Enigma Cabernet Sauvignon is great on it’s own on a relaxing evening, or pairs well with pretty much everything from steak to pasta. It’s a very versatile wine to have on hand this holiday season for your guests, a nice wine that the majority will love.

The Enigma Chardonnay is for those at seek a nice white wine, it’s rich but not overpowering. This one is a mix of baked apple, pear and lemon with a hint of oak, and pairs with seafood or roast chicken.

Enigma wines also retail for a good price, meaning you your next girls night out can also be a  frugal one. So, it’s one that allows you to grab an assortment for the gathering, and not have to worry about spending a lot. For more information, check out http://www.enigmawine.ca/.
