Nine

Last week my daughter turned nine. I cannot believe we are almost in the double digits!

We had her pool party on Saturday, a fun Monster High themed birthday. The cake turned out amazing, as did the decorations. Take a peek at my post here for photos.

Also, in a prior Wordless Wednesday, I mentioned that I use a Frosting that is Light and Not Too Sweet, and many of you wanted the recipe. I posted it yesterday, so make sure to check it out

  3. Happy Birthday! 9 is a great age – old enough to hold a conversation but young enough to still be a kid.

  5. Happy Birthday to your daughter! 9 is a really great age… old enough to be somewhat independent but young enough to still be a kid and need a mom! Have a great year with her!

    1. She desperately wants to be a MH character for Halloween. But, I find the costumes too skimpy, esp for our Canadian Fall. Know of any …. ‘longer in the skirt’ ones?

    1. I can see it too Deborah, but haven’t decided if that’s a good thing. She definitely has my attitude though!
